Approval of Amendment No. 6, Contract Y22-124, Medication Assisted Treatment Program, with Aspire Health Partners, Inc., in the amount of $124,253 for a revised estimated contract amount of $623,258. ([Health Services Department Corrections Health Services Division] Procurement Division)

PROCUREMENT:
The amendment will revise the budget and add additional funds to support the increased hours of operation of the jail Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Program. The additional hours will allow the program to go from treating up to 50 inmates per day to a maximum of 100 inmates per day.
The MAT program dispenses methadone, suboxone, and vivitrol medication to inmates with opioid use disorder seven days a week in the jail. In addition, the program has on onsite medical provider to conduct new patient and follow-up exams related to MAT.
This is a cost reimbursement contract, so only actual costs will be reimbursed.
FUNDING:
Funding is available in the account number 0001-060-3909-3197.
APPROVALS:
The Health Services Department concurs with this recommendation.
REMARKS:
On September 28, 2021, the Board authorized award of contract Y22-124 with Aspire Heath Partners, Inc. in the amount of $449,005 for a one-year term with further approval for the Procurement Division to renew the contract for four additional one-year terms. This contract was approved in accordance with the Code of Ordinances, Part I, Chapter 17, Article III, Section 17-286 - Applications and exclusions.
