The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. Please contact our office if you need an accessible version of documents on this page, and one will be provided.

PROJECT: Traffic Signal Cabinet Art

PURPOSE: Through an agreement, the Orange Blossom Trail Development Board Inc. (OBTDB) implements redevelopment programs along Orange Blossom Trail (OBT) and in Holden Heights. One such program is the OBT Safe Neighborhood/Neighborhood Improvement District (NID), which is a special district focused on economic development, beautification, and crime prevention. To further the beautification goals in the NID target area, the OBTDB requests to decorate a traffic signal cabinet using an approved art design. The Neighborhood Services Division acts as the liaison between the OBTDB and Orange County regarding County-related matters, which is why this request is being advanced through the Planning, Environmental, and Development Services Department.

This request follows the procedure to request artwork on traffic signal cabinets established in the St.art Something Program. In partnership with the Traffic Engineering Division, the Neighborhood Services Division administers the St.art Something Program which allows citizen organizations and businesses to adopt and decorate a traffic signal cabinet using an approved art design.
