PROJECT:
Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC) and Duke Energy Electric Vehicle Charging Station Agreement Termination

PURPOSE: The County entered into separate electrical vehicle charging station agreements with Duke Energy (previously Progress Energy) and OUC. These agreements allowed for the installation of Level 2 electrical vehicle charging stations on the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) campus in various locations. These agreements have outlived their usefulness, and the equipment is no longer operational or being maintained. The OCCC would like to terminate these agreements in accordance with the contract terms in order to initiate the removal of the equipment. The equipment removal will take place through each utility. The OCCC property where the charging stations are located will be returned to the condition existing prior to installation, per the terms of each agreement.
