PURPOSE:
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise (“Department”), and Orange County wish to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA).
The Department’s adopted work program includes a project to widen the eastbound exit ramp from SR 528 to CR 423 (John Young Parkway) at milepost 3, along with other improvements identified in the Department’s Five-Year Adopted Work Program under Financial Project Number 449465-1. The FDOT project will reconfigure the roadway by separating turn lanes from through lanes, extending from the off-ramp to Taft Vineland Road.
This MOA with the Department was reviewed and approved by the County Attorney’s Office and the Risk Management Division as to form.
