PROCUREMENT:
This purchase order will continue the workflow of uploading geographical information system (GIS) data to the cloud-based mapping system. The mapping system is used by the Public Safety Answering Points within Orange County for emergency response for law enforcement, fire, and emergency medical services. The performance period is February 1, 2025, through January 31, 2026.
FUNDING:
Funding is available in accounting numbers 1054-031-0677-02-3197, 1054-031-0677-03-3197, 1054-031-0677-04-3197, 1054-031-0677-05-3197, 1054-031-0677-06-3197, 1054-031-0677-07-3197, 1054-031-0677-08-3197, 1054-031-0677-09-3197, and 1054-031-0677-10-3197.
APPROVALS:
The Information Systems and Services Division concurs with this recommendation.
REMARKS:
The supplier contracted for the next generation 911 GIS project to validate millions of GIS records in preparation for the project. The state mandates GIS records are a minimum of 98% accuracy rate. This supplier has spent over three years validating data to get Orange County to this rate and we will be implementing this project year at all 911 Public Safety Answering Points.
