The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. Members of the 2024 VAB met on June 17, 2024, to approve and execute the Resolution adopting filing fees for the 2024 VAB tax cycle, approve Special Magistrate fees, and guaranteed minimum hours, adopt the Requests for Reconsideration Procedures, Local Administrative Procedures and forms, and to appoint Special Magistrates for exemption/classification, tangible personal property valuation, and real property valuation hearings.
