The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. PURPOSE: The Membership and Mission Review Board (MMRB) is composed of nine members, one appointed from each of the county commission districts upon recommendation of the district commissioner, one appointed upon recommendation of the County Mayor, and two at large members nominated by the County Mayor or any County Commissioner and appointed by the full Board. The Board must confirm all appointments.
The terms of the two at large members of the MMRB, Nikki Mims and Samuel D. Vilchez Santiago, will expire on December 31, 2025. Both Ms. Mims and Mr. Vilchez Santiago are eligible for reappointment, and both would like to continue serving on the MMRB.
