PROJECT:
5 Year PHA Plan (for all PHAs) and Streamlined Annual PHA Plan (High Performer PHAs)

 

PURPOSE: The Department of Housing and Urban Development requires all Public Housing Agencies (PHAs) to submit a Five Year PHA (for ALL PHAs) and Streamlined Annual PHA Plan (High Performer PHAs) (Plan). The Plan identifies the housing strategies that will be implemented during the period of October 1, 2025, to September 30, 2026, in accordance with the requirements of the Housing Choice Voucher Program (Section 8 rental assistance), a Resident Advisory Board composed of tenants currently participating in the Section 8 program met to review the Plan on April 11, 2025. The Resident Advisory Board members did not have any objections or concerns regarding the Plan. 

A notice soliciting public input was published in the Orlando Sentinel on May 2, 2025. There were no comments received during the 45-day public comment period. Additionally, a public hearing was conducted June 18, 2025, to provide an opportunity for the public to comment on the Plan.
