In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. PURPOSE: The Aviation Noise Abatement Committee (ANAC) was established by interlocal agreement between Orange County and the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) on November 1, 1977. ANAC makes recommendations for establishing noise abatement procedures and monitors the implementation of such procedures. Orange County nominates all local government representatives for appointment, including those from the City of Orlando and Osceola County. GOAA makes the appointments. Terms are for four years.
The term of Anthony P. Carugno has expired. Mr. Carugno is serving in the Member of a Municipal Noise Impacted Area (Belle Isle/Edgewood) representative category. Commissioner Uribe would like to nominate Mr. Carugno for reappointment in this category with a term expiring April 4, 2027.
