Approval to award Invitation for Bids Y26-167MB, Orange County Construction Services for the ADA Pedestrian Safety Improvement Program, to the low responsive and responsible bidders, RMS Constructors Group, LLC, in the estimated contract award amount of $6,991,600 for a five-year term, and W.T. Comp Inc, in the total estimated contract award amount of $7,397,904.25 for a five-year term. ([Public Works Department Highway Construction Division] Procurement Division)

PROCUREMENT:
Work under these contracts consists of providing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the construction of ADA compliant curb ramp connections to existing sidewalks and installation of missing gaps in sidewalks as part of the Public Works’s ADA Pedestrian Safety Improvements Program. Work shall include, but not be limited to, installation of 4”, 6”, and 8” concrete, installation of concrete sidewalks, curbs and driveways, installation of detectable warning mats, and installation of drainage pipe and associated drainage structures. The project is located in all districts.
FUNDING:
Funding is available in account number 1002-072-2851-3816.
APPROVALS:
The Highway Construction Division concurs with this recommendation.
