PROJECT: International Drive Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) Work Session
PURPOSE: The International Drive Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) was established in 1998 for a 30-year term to address transportation deficiencies and later expanded to address affordable and attainable housing, economic development, community, cultural and institutional programs, and beautification and aesthetics. The CRA’s term expires September 29, 2028. On October 27, 2026, staff will provide a brief history and overview of the International Drive CRA, highlight the program’s accomplishments, share current ongoing and planned projects, CRA revenue projections and considerations. Staff will also provide an overview of the process and timeline needed to update the CRA plan and extend the CRA term, consistent with Section 163.361 of the Florida Statutes.
