PROJECT: Habitat for Humanity Greater Orlando and Osceola County, Inc. Lot 4911 La Grange Avenue, Orlando, Florida 32808
PURPOSE: On April 11, 2006, the Board approved a Single-Family Affordable Housing Developer's Agreement with Habitat for Humanity Greater Orlando and Osceola County, Inc. (formerly Habitat for Humanity of Greater Orlando Area, Inc.) for the development of affordable housing on County-donated land located at 4911 La Grange Avenue, Orlando, FL 32808 (Parcel ID: 19-22-29-0000-00-018). Due to site access challenges, the project was delayed. However, the Agency has since confirmed its ability to access the property and proceed. The parties agree that an amended and restated agreement to reflect updated terms and timelines is required. The revised agreement outlines the construction of one single-family affordable housing unit to be sold to a qualified low- or moderate-income household. The Agency shall begin construction on the lot within 12 months of execution of the agreement and complete the project within 24 months. The home must be sold to an eligible buyer and cannot be sold to an investor. The Agency must submit quarterly project status reports and a final project report upon completion.
