PROCUREMENT:
This change order funds supplemental site assessment activities as required by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP), which includes, but is not limited to, soil sampling, monitoring well installation, groundwater sampling, and submitting a Supplemental Site Assessment Report to the FDEP. Petroleum impacted material was discovered at the Fleet facility during underground fuel tank replacement activities.
FUNDING:
Funding is available in account number 5530-043-2035-3110.
APPROVALS:
The Risk Management Division concurs with this recommendation.
REMARKS:
On February 25, 2025, the Board approved the selection of RES Florida Consulting, LLC dba E Sciences to provide Continuing Professional Services for Environmental Site Assessment and Remediation. The contract Y25-901 and associated pricing schedules show that current costs for comparable Environmental Assessment and Remediation services are reasonable and consistent with the current market.
Task Authorization 18 was executed on September 10, 2025 in the amount of $119,022.58.
