The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. PURPOSE: The East Central Florida Regional Planning Council (ECFRPC) is an association of local governments serving Brevard, Lake, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Sumter, and Volusia Counties. It is established pursuant to Chapter 186, Florida Statutes. Orange County is allotted two membership positions on the ECFRPC. One of these is currently held by Commissioner Uribe. The remaining position was held by former Commissioner Bonilla.
On December 17, 2024, the Board will be requested to appoint an elected official to the ECFRPC to replace former Commissioner Bonilla. There is no specified term for this appointment.
