PROJECT: Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Award Number 6N247 in the amount of $104,950.
PURPOSE: The Florida Department of Law Enforcement, acting as the pass-through agency for the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Countywide, has awarded Orange County, as governing body, one Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Grant Countywide totaling $104,950, with no required match. The grant period is from January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025, and will support the following approved law enforcement initiative.
Orange County Sheriff’s Office/C-6N247: Safety and Protection in Law Enforcement - Award Number: 6N247, funding will support procurement of a protective ballistic podium and an armored personnel platform for our agency’s critical incident vehicle. ($104,950)
