PROCUREMENT:
This purchase order will provide software maintenance for the Land Development and Management System (LDMS) for the period of July 31, 2026 through July 30, 2027.
FUNDING:
Funding is available in account numbers 1011-068-3132-3192, 1002-072-2701-3192, 4420-038-1302-3192, 001-068-3132-3192, 1009-034-0652-3192, and 0001-068-3132-3192.
APPROVALS:
The Planning, Environmental, and Development Services Department concurs with this recommendation.
REMARKS:
The Planning, Environmental, and Development Services Department (PEDS) built the LDMS using customizable software products provided by Granicus, LLC, formerly Calytera Systems, following the award of Request for Proposals Y7-604 in 2008. LDMS is a core component of the Aladin system relied upon by several County departments, including PEDS, Public Works, Fire Rescue, and Utilities, to manage and process development applications. This One Stop Permitting process allows electronic communication among the required agencies for approval of all Land Development permits required by Orange County Ordinance and the Building Code. Staff has verified the AMANDA software is a proprietary product of Granicus. As such, they are the sole source of support.
