PURPOSE: On June 4, 2024, the Arts and Cultural Affairs Advisory Council presented its recommendations to the Board for the allocation of the Tourist Development Tax (TDT) to the various arts programs. United Arts of Central Florida, Inc. will serve as the fiscal agent to manage compliance and distribution of the funding, as directed by Orange County.  The purpose of these recommendations is to provide funding for the promotion of various arts organizations that will attract cultural tourists to Orange County and to strengthen the community’s cultural infrastructure. The contract amounts have been updated based on the latest calculations of estimated TDT collections for the year.
