Approval of Amendment No. 4, Contract Y19-1066, Fleet Management Sublet Truck Parts and Repairs, with Rush Truck Centers of Florida, Inc. dba Rush Truck Center Orlando, in the amount of $195,000, for a revised estimated contract amount of $2,494,500. PROCUREMENT:
This amendment extends the contract for the period of September 26, 2024 through December 25, 2024 and adds funds to support service continuity while a new procurement process is completed. The re-solicitation is projected to be issued by mid-September.
FUNDING:
Funding is available in account numbers 5530-043-2035-4163 and 5530-043-2035-4164.
APPROVALS:
The Fleet Management Division concurs with this recommendation.
REMARKS:
On June 4, 2019, the Board authorized award of Contract Y19-1066 to Rush Truck Centers of Florida, Inc. dba Rush Truck Center Orlando, in the estimated amount of $2,190,000 for a three-year term with further approval for Procurement Division to renew the contract for two additional one-year terms. Previous contract amendments are as follows:
Amendment No. 1: Renewed the contract for the period of June 26, 2022 through June 25, 2023.
Amendment No. 2: Renewed the contract for the period of June 26, 2023 through June 25, 2024, inclusive of a price escalation allowed under the contract.
Amendment No. 3: Extended the contract for the period of June 26, 2024 through September 25, 2024. Added funds in the amount of $109,500, for a revised estimated contract amount of $2,299,500.
