Warrant Service Officer Addendum and Intergovernmental Service Agreement Update.

PROJECT: N/A
PURPOSE: The ICE 287g program has made updates to their existing Warrant Service Officer Memorandum of Agreement (MOA). The original MOA was signed by the Mayor on February 19, 2025, and ratified by the Board on March 25, 2025. As opposed to sending new MOAs for signature, ICE has created an addendum which supersedes sections of the MOA. The Florida Sheriffs Association forwarded the addendum to all sheriffs and county jails for signature. The Mayor declined to sign the addendum. Additionally, the Corrections Department and the County Attorney’s Office will provide an update to the Board on the status of the Intergovernmental Service Agreement.
