PROJECT: Habitat for Humanity Greater Orlando and Osceola County, Inc.
PURPOSE: On August 5, 2025, the Board approved the 2025-2026 Annual Action Plan for housing and community development programs funded through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The Action Plan utilizes some of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds to support capital improvements related to the rehabilitation of public facilities that provide services to low to moderate income individuals and families, to include homeless people.
CDBG funds have been awarded to Habitat for Humanity Greater Orlando and Osceola County Inc., to provide county wide roof replacement and associated repair activities on approximately 30 homes. Orange County must execute a Subrecipient Agreement for this capital improvement project. The agreement has been reviewed by the County Attorney’s Office as to form
