The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. SUBJECT: 2026 Local Administrative Procedures and Forms
PURPOSE:
Adopt the 2026 Local Administrative Procedures and forms. [FAC 12D-9.013(1)(h)]
BACKGROUND:
Local Administrative Procedures will facilitate the VAB’s administrative review of ad valorem property tax assessments. The VAB shall discuss, take testimony on and adopt or ratify with any required revision or amendment any local administrative procedures and forms of the board. Such procedures must be ministerial in nature and not be inconsistent with governing statutes, case law, attorney general opinions or rules of the department. All local administrative procedures and forms of the board or special magistrates shall be made available to the public and shall be accessible on the board clerk’s website.
