Approval of Amendment No. 5, Contract Y19-1130, Operation and Maintenance of Small Water and Wastewater Plants, with U.S. Water Services Corporation, in the amount of $80,000, for a revised estimated contract amount of $305,677.84. PROCUREMENT:
This amendment will extend the contract for the period of September 1, 2024 through December 31, 2024 and add funding to support services during the contract extension period to ensure continuity of services while a procurement process is complete. A solicitation is projected to be issued in August.
FUNDING:
Funding is available in account numbers 0001-043-1715-3810, 0001-043-1719-3810, and 1009-037-0672-3710.
APPROVALS:
The Facilities Management Division concurs with this request.
REMARKS:
On August 6, 2019, the Board authorized award of Contract Y19-1130 to U.S. Water Services Corporation in the amount of $527,033.52 for a three-year term and authorized the Procurement Division to renew the contract for two additional one-year terms.
Previous contract amendments are as follows:
Amendment No. 1: Renewed the contract for the period of September 1, 2022 through August 31, 2023. There was no change to the contract amount.
Amendment No. 2: Amended line item 2 in the Bid Response Form from 2 weekly checks to 5 weekly checks. The unit price per month was changed from $313.90 to $747.23. There was no change to the contract amount.
