Selection of one firm and an alternate to provide General Engineering Consultant Services, Request for Proposals Y25-902-TA from the following firms listed alphabetically:
* AECOM Technical Services, Inc.
* HNTB Corporation
Further request Board authorization for the Procurement Division to negotiate and execute a one-year term contract with an estimated budget of $3,000,000 annually. Further request Board authorization for the Procurement Division to renew the contract for four additional one-year terms. Further request Board authorization for the Procurement Division to formally terminate negotiations with the top ranked firm, if we are unable to come to a favorable negotiated agreement, and commence negotiations with the next ranked alternate, until a successful negotiation is reached. PROCUREMENT:
The General Engineering Consultant (GEC) will provide program management, project management, and administrative support services for the County Transportation Work Program. The GEC can assist during all stages of the transportation project delivery process, by providing management services and staff augmentation to multiple Orange County Departments and Divisions, including the Public Works Department, and Real Estate Management, Procurement, and Business Development Divisions. The services to be provided by the GEC will be initiated and completed through Task Authorizations.
