Approval to Award Invitation for Bids Y24-1113-JA, Temporary Labor Services - Utilities Maintenance Technician Term Contract, to the low responsive and responsible bidder, Ad-Vance Personnel Services, Inc dba Ad-Vance Talent Solutions, Inc., in the estimated contract award amount of $1,167,527 for a five-year term.
In the event the bidder recommended above fails to achieve timely compliance with pre-award deliverables, as defined in the Invitation for Bids, including, but not limited to, M/WBE participation sub-contract agreements, State Division of Corporations registration, E-verify, insurance and bonds, request Board authorization for the Procurement Division to award to the next low responsive and responsible bidder as listed in the bid tabulation herein, to the extent practicable and advantageous to the County. PROCUREMENT:
This contract will provide temporary labor for both long- and short-term assignments to assist in meeting the employment needs of the Utilities Department.
FUNDING:
Funding is available in account number 4420-038-1310-3179.
APPROVALS:
The Utilities Department and Business Development Division concur with the recommendation.
REMARKS:
Fifteen bids were received in response to this Invitation for Bids (IFB) and were evaluated for responsiveness, responsibility, and price reasonableness.
