The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. Please contact our office if you need an accessible version of documents on this page, and one will be provided.

PROCUREMENT:

This contract will provide submersible pumps, parts, and repairs for Orange County wastewater pumping stations.

FUNDING:

Funding is available in account number 4420-038-1347-3810.

APPROVALS:

The Field Services Division concurs with this recommendation.

REMARKS:

ABS pumps are utilized in Orange County wastewater pumping stations. This contract ensures timely access to ABS pumps, parts, and repair services. Hydra Service(s), Inc. has been verified as the sole authorized dealer of municipal ABS equipment and repairs in Orange County.

Price reasonableness has been established by comparing the contract pricing to the estimated project cost and the actual quote received, which is 6.5% lower than the projection. Additionally, pricing was compared to the previous contract Y21-170, which provided parts at a 10% discount off the list price. The same 10% discount structure remains applicable under this award.
