The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. PROJECT: N/A
PURPOSE: The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been created to establish a partnership between the Orange County Office of Tenant Services (OTS) and the Orange County Library System (OCLS). This MOU outlines that OTS will participate in tabling events at the request of OCLS at any of their 16 locations. These events provide opportunities to educate the community on landlord/tenant rights and responsibilities, fostering/ maintaining positive relationships with landlords, and eviction prevention, as well as share newly passed laws such as Senate Bill 180 pertaining to hurricane disaster recovery. Information will also include general overview of the office and services provided, such as tenant workshops and other division resources that can benefit the community.
