Approval of Amendment No. 6, Contract Y21-135B, HVAC Installation and Repair Services, with Stark Tech Services LLC, in the amount of $200,000, for a revised estimated contract amount of $809,625. ([Convention Center Fiscal and Operational Support Division] Procurement Division)

PROCUREMENT:
This amendment will extend the contract for the period of July 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026, and add funding to support services during the contract extension period while a new procurement is completed. The re-solicitation is projected to be released in May.
FUNDING:
Funding is available in account number: 4430-035-0922-3810.
APPROVALS:
The Convention Center concurs with this recommendation.
REMARKS:
On May 10, 2021, the Board authorized the award of Invitation for Bids Y21-135B to Shaw Mechanical Services LLC, in the estimated contract amount of $609,625 for a one-year term with four additional one-year renewals. As of June 17, 2025, all terms and assets of Y21-135B were transferred from Shaw Mechanical Services LLC to Stark Tech Services LLC through novation, fully executed on August 25, 2025.
Previous contract amendments are as follows:
Amendment No. 1: Renewed the contract for the period of July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023.
Amendment No. 2: Replaced Amendment No. 1 to correct a typographical error in the renewal date.
Amendment No. 3: Renewed the contract for the period of July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024.
Amendment No. 4: Renewed the contract for the period of July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025.
