The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. PROJECT: N/A
PURPOSE: Florida State University Board of Trustees offers accredited programs in various fields of study and seeks to provide students with real-world experience through experiential learning placements (also known as “internships” or “externships”). Orange County has previously served as a host agency, and The Florida State University Board of Trustees wishes to continue placing students with experiential learning placements that are relevant to the College’s programs of study.
The Affiliation Agreement establishes an Experiential Learning Placement Program to support student placements in a manner that benefits both the University’s academic programs and County operations. The term of the Agreement shall remain in effect from the date both parties execute the agreement through September 30, 2029. There is no cost to the County.
