PROCUREMENT:
The purchase order provides for the emergency repairs of pile jacketing and slope repairs and remediation of Bridge 754080 University Boulevard Bridge over the Little Econlockhatchee River. This project is located in District 5.
FUNDING:
Funding is available in account numbers 1002-072-2906-3816 and 1004-072-2912-3816.
APPROVALS:
The Roads and Drainage Division concurs with this recommendation.
REMARKS:
Bridge ID 754080 University Boulevard Bridge over the Little Econlockhatchee River is experiencing critical structural damage, including a major collapse of the west side slope as well as deterioration of the bridge piles due to extensive spalling and severe scour conditions. The slope failure and pile deterioration present significant structural risks requiring urgent remediation for infrastructure stability and public safety.
The scope of work includes structural pile jacketing to repair deteriorated bridge piles and restore axial and lateral load capacity.
