The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. Please contact our office if you need an accessible version of documents on this page, and one will be provided.

PURPOSE: To satisfy a specific condition of approval of an after-the-fact Boat Dock Construction Permit No. BD-23-10-134

REMARKS: Pursuant to Chapter 15, Article IX, Section 15-342(a)(8), the floor elevation shall be a minimum of one foot above the established control elevation or Normal High Water Elevation (NHWE).

The applicant received approval of a variance to keep their previously constructed dock at an elevation less than the required height above the NHWE. As a condition of approval of the variance, the applicant is required to enter into a Hold Harmless Agreement with Orange County to be recorded at the applicant’s expense. This action approves the Hold Harmless Agreement that is required as a condition of the permit.
