PROCUREMENT:
This purchase order will provide owner's representative services related to the replacement and upgrade of the electronic security system that controls and monitors the Corrections campus. The existing Corrections campus security system incorporates electronic security control and monitoring systems with design and installation elements dating back to the mid-1970's. These older systems are at a critical stage of maintainability and a phased approach of replacement is ongoing to address this security concern in support of Corrections' operational mission. The project is located in District 6.
FUNDING:
Funding is available in account number 1023-081-4031-6210.
APPROVALS:
The Capital Projects Division concurs with this recommendation.
REMARKS:
Fitzgerald Technology Group, LLC has a deep understanding of the Corrections campus' physical security measures and operational procedures because they have been involved in numerous security related projects at the campus since 2015 based on their complete assessment of the entire security control and monitoring system and the development of the Electronic Touchscreen Security Management & Control System Functional Requirements.
