Approval to award Invitation for Bids Y26-1011-KS, Commercial Doors and Gates Preventative Maintenance and Repairs for Fire Rescue, to the low responsive and responsible bidder, Miner, Ltd., in the estimated contract award amount of $3,052,000, for a five-year term. ([Fire Rescue Department Logistics Division] Procurement Division]

PROCUREMENT:
The contract will provide routine maintenance and repairs for approximately 230 commercial doors and 60 gates for Orange County Fire Rescue facilities.
FUNDING:
Funding is available in account number 1009-034-0672-3810.
APPROVALS:
The Fire Rescue Department and Business Development Division concur with this recommendation.
REMARKS:
Five bids were received in response to this Invitation for Bids (IFB) and evaluated for responsiveness, responsibility, and price reasonableness. Reference checks established satisfactory performance and capabilities to deliver services as outlined int the scope of services. Miner, Ltd.’s proposed pricing remains consistent with prior awarded contracts and is deemed fair and reasonable. Therefore, award is recommended to Miner, Ltd.
