The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. PURPOSE: The County has determined that there is a public interest for activities/programs to promote Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) careers in Central Florida through MS&T education programs focused on supporting K-14 educators and their students and designed to inspire Orange County’s community youth to pursue high wage job opportunities. The County looks to the National Center for Simulation to conduct outreach and STEAM Club development, provide economic development opportunities, and commit to develop the future workforce from local youth via hosting STEAM events and programs.
