The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. PURPOSE: The Planning and Zoning Commission is composed of nine members, one appointed from each of the county commission districts upon recommendation of the district commissioner, one appointed upon recommendation of the County Mayor, and two at large members nominated by the County Mayor or any County Commissioner and appointed by the full board. The district commissioner and County Mayor appointments must be confirmed by the Board of County Commissioners.
The terms of appointment for several of the members of the Planning and Zoning Commission expired December 31, 2024. Board confirmation of the following reappointments is requested.
1) Confirmation of the reappointment of David Boers as the District 1 representative as requested by Commissioner Wilson.
2) Confirmation of the reappointment of Eric B. Gray as the District 4 representative as requested by Commissioner Gomez Cordero.
The terms will expire December 31, 2026. Please let me know if you require further information.
