Approval of Contract Y26-2200, Nurse Family Partnership Program and Fatherhood Services with Healthy Start Coalition of Orange County, Inc., in the total contract award amount of $1,106,302 for a one-year term. Further request Board authorization for the Procurement Division to renew the contract for four additional one-year terms. The performance period is October 1, 2025 through September 30, 2026. PROCUREMENT:
This contract will provide nurse family partnership and fatherhood support services to ensure pregnant women have access to care and to improve maternal and infant health while reducing the number of preterm births and infant mortality low birth weight babies and to improve health outcomes for all children by offering evidence based services including Nurse Family Partnership (intensive, home-visiting with a Registered Nurse (RN)) for pregnant women) and Dad-U Fatherhood program (education, training, and support) to fathers of young children.

Funding is available in account number 001-062-2501-8611.
APPROVALS:
The Community and Family Services Department concurs with this recommendation.
REMARKS:
In accordance with the Code of Ordinances, Part 1, Chapter 17, Article III, Section 17-286 - Application and Exclusions, agreements between the Board and nonprofit organizations are excluded from competitive procurement requirements.
