PROCUREMENT:
This contract supports the County's ongoing efforts to expand transitional housing services for unhoused or precariously housed Orange County residents. Through this agreement, Orange County will collaborate with Central Florida Cares Health System, Inc. (CFCHS), a not-for-profit behavioral health management organization and the Department of Children and Families' designated Managing Entity for this region. CFCHS will subcontract with transitional housing providers to deliver services at various locations throughout Orange County, offering supportive housing and mental health and substance use-related overlay services with the ultimate goal of placement into permanent housing. CFCHS will ensure all subcontracted providers comply with State and County requirements, including cultural and linguistic competency standards. The performance period will commence on August 1, 2025.
