The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. Please contact our office if you need an accessible version of documents on this page, and one will be provided.

Selection options are described below:

2. To view BCC records by meeting date between January 4, 2011 through September 22, 2016, scroll down to locate the BCC meeting date.

PROCUREMENT:
As a result of the federal government shutdown, the temporary interruption of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits may result in increased food insecurity among low-income households and households affected by federal employee furloughs. SNAP provides essential nutrition assistance to millions of Americans, including an estimated 175,000 Orange County residents, ensuring that children, seniors, and vulnerable adults have consistent access to food. Such a disruption in benefits can heighten reliance on emergency food providers and may compel families to skip meals or make difficult decisions between meeting basic needs such as food, housing, transportation, childcare, and healthcare.
Approximately 47,000 federal workers in the Central Florida region have been furloughed, laid off, or are working without pay. Many furloughed families, who under normal circumstances do not qualify for traditional social assistance because of their income levels, may now be experiencing unexpected financial hardship. Schools may also see more students arriving hungry or without sufficient nutrition, affecting concentration, attendance, and learning outcomes.
