The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. PURPOSE: Working with state and regional agencies to ensure a clean environment and a sustainable water supply for our citizens, Orange County continues to develop innovative projects designed to achieve water conservation and water quality. In 2024, the Board was awarded $108,600 funding through the South Florida Water Management District’s cost-share program for the following project:
• WC-SFDEP-86-Commerical Waterwise Neighbor Program
The Utilities Water Division requests the approval of the agreement for this project.
Implementation of the cost-share program is $103,005 which $51,500 (50%) will be reimbursed by the district upon task completion.
The County Attorney’s Office staff reviewed the agreement and finds it acceptable. Utilities Department staff recommends approval.
