PROCUREMENT:
This purchase order procures the installation of four, three-phase pad mounted transformers, 4,960 feet of primary underground cable, and medium voltage terminations to provide permanent power to Orange County Convention Center North/South Building Exterior Show Power Improvements Phase II project.
FUNDING:
Funding is available in the account number 4430-035-0965-33-6210.
APPROVALS:
The Orange County Convention Center Capital Planning Division concurs with this recommendation.
REMARKS:
In accordance with the Code of Ordinances, Part 1, Chapter 17, Article III, Section 17-286 - Application and Exclusions, agreements between the Board and utility service providers are excluded from competitive procurement requirements. Orlando Utilities Commission is the sole power utility provider for this location.
Pricing has been determined to be fair and reasonable based on a comprehensive analysis conducted by a third-party utilities consultant.
