Approval to award Invitation for Bids Y24-776-ZR, East Bay Street Sub Area 2 Paving and Drainage, to the low responsive and responsible bidder, Stage Door II, LLC in the total contract award amount of $5,232,665.
In the event the bidder recommended above fails to achieve timely compliance with pre-award deliverables, as defined in the Invitation for Bids, including, but not limited to, State Division of Corporations registration, E-verify, insurance and bonds, further request authorization for the Procurement Division to award to the next low responsive and responsible bidder as listed in the bid tabulation herein, to the extent practicable and advantageous to the County. PROCUREMENT:
This contract will provide construction improvements which will take place along four residential streets (East Bay Street, Christopher Street, Trumbo Street, and Saba Avenue) and will include new five-foot sidewalks on both sides of the roads, roadway milling and resurfacing, a closed drainage system, and two retention ponds. This project will also include improvements to the City of Winter Garden's water main. This project involves the City of Winter Garden on the water main improvement. The project is located in District 1.
FUNDING:
Funding is available in account numbers 5896-019-5148-6311, 5904-068-9355-4440 and 6689-001-0061-8510. This is federally funded through the American Rescue Plan Act and Community Development Block Grant. The water main improvement portion will be financed by the City of Win...
