PROJECT:
Interlocal Agreement between the City of Orlando, Florida and Orange County Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) regarding the restoration of West Central Boulevard from Rio Grande Avenue to Westmoreland Drive.

PURPOSE: The Orange County CRA, comprised of the members of the Board of County Commissioners, formed in 1990 for the public purpose of revitalizing slum or blighted areas within the City of Orlando and unincorporated Orange County along South Orange Blossom Trail and bound by West Colonial Drive, Westmoreland Drive, Interstate 4, and Rio Grande Avenue ("Redevelopment Area"). On November 18, 2025, the CRA approved expenditure of CRA funds toward a City of Orlando roadway project. The city will mill and resurface, stripe, and replace concrete curbs and sidewalks along Central Boulevard from Rio Grande Avenue to Westmoreland Drive. The lnterlocal Agreement establishes the terms of the CRA fund expenditure with an amount not to exceed $355,000. The project is within the Redevelopment Area. The City of Orlando approved the lnterlocal Agreement on April 20, 2026.

The Board must convene as the Orange County Community Redevelopment Agency to take action on this item.
