Approval to award Invitation for Bids Y26-713-CR, Waterleigh Neighborhood Park, to the low responsive and responsible bidder, Mulligan Constructors Inc., in the total contract award amount of $1,138,777.
In the event the bidder recommended above fails to achieve timely compliance with pre-award deliverables, as defined in the Invitation for Bids, including, but not limited to, State Division of Corporations registration, E-verify, insurance and bonds, further request authorization for the Procurement Division to award to the next low responsive and responsible bidder as listed in the bid tabulation herein, to the extent practicable and advantageous to the County. PROCUREMENT:
The project consists of site improvements for a five-acre neighborhood park located at the southeast corner of Lost Creek Dr. and Atwater Bay Dr. in Winter Garden within Orange County. The scope includes a paved walking trail throughout the park, connections to existing sidewalk, basketball courts, playground, and covered pavilion and picnic areas. Additional work includes a stormwater management system, potable water to hose bibs, and water fountains. This project is located in District 1.
FUNDING:
Funding is available in account number 1050-062-2185-6310.
APPROVALS:
The Capital Projects Division concurs with this recommendation.
REMARKS:
