Approval of the settlement of the case of Orange County v. Diamond Elite Orlando, LLC, Case No. 2024-CA-010036-O, Parcel 1006A, 1006B, 7006 and 1007, Texas Avenue RCA (Oak Ridge Road to Holden Avenue), and authorization for the County Attorney’s Office to seek the entry of the proposed Stipulated Final Judgment by the Court.

PURPOSE: This Consent Agenda item requests settlement authorization by the Board of County Commissioners for the Orange County v. Diamond Elite Orlando, LLC., et al. eminent domain case brought by Orange County on behalf of Public Works for the improvement of Texas Avenue.
A confidential memorandum, Mediated Settlement Agreement and Addendum to Mediated Settlement Agreement, Settlement Analysis, and proposed Stipulated Final Judgment have been provided to the Board under a separate cover memorandum. These documents will become public records at the conclusion of the litigation pursuant to Section 119.071(1)(d), Florida Statutes.
