In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. PURPOSE:
The Public Works Department requests approval of the Preliminary Plat of Lake Cawood Cove. This is a 110 lot plat located approximately a third of mile southwest of the intersection of Winter Garden Vineland Road South and West Lake Butler Road.
Ashton Orlando Residential LLC and JEN Florida 53 LLC have requested authorization to submit residential permits pursuant to “Expedited Process for Issuing Residential Building Permits Before a Final Plat is Recorded” as provided for in Section 177.073 Florida Statutes and Section 34-75 Orange County Code.
Approval of this Preliminary Plat has been recommended by the Development Review Committee on December 17, 2025, per the requirements of Chapter 34, Article III, Section 34-75(k) of the Orange County Code.
