PROCUREMENT:
Work under this contract consists of the removal and replacement of the existing generators and associated fuel tanks with new generators and fuel tanks. The generators and fuel tanks have reached the end of their useful life and need to be replaced.
FUNDING:
Funding is available in account number 1023-043-0263-3810.
APPROVALS:
The Capital Projects and Business Development Divisions concur with this recommendation.
REMARKS:
Four bids were received in response to the Invitation for Bids (IFB) and were evaluated for responsiveness, responsibility, and price reasonableness. Eau Gallie Electric was deemed non-responsive by the Procurement Division based on the analysis provided by the Business Development Division, which identified that the M/WBE participation goal was not achieved and sufficient good faith effort documentation was not provided for this IFB. Echo ED Corp has been determined to be responsible, as the references provided were satisfactory for this type of work. Therefore, the award is recommended to Echo ED Corp.
