The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. Orlando Health Howard Phillips Center for Children & Families - $10,000. This organization provides children and families with a support system and resources, so they don’t have to face overwhelming challenges alone. They also provide expert forensic assessments in child abuse cases and offer training on the topic of child abuse and neglect to community professionals who work with children. This contribution is to help those working with children to identify and report suspected child abuse to law enforcement and the Department of Children and Families, so they can investigate and intervene to protect vulnerable children.
