PROJECT:
Amendment No. 1 to Contract #Y25-144 between Orange County, Florida and United Arts of Central Florida, Inc.

PURPOSE: On October 29, 2024, the Board approved Contract #Y25-144 in the total amount of $14,000,000 between Orange County, Florida and United Arts of Central Florida, Inc. to serve as the fiscal agent in managing compliance and distribution of Tourist Development Tax (TDT) Arts Cultural and Facility grant funding, as directed by Orange County.  Amendment No. 1 is proposed in order to adjust the contract from a total amount of $14,000,000 to a total amount of $15,935,289 to reflect the actual 2024 Tourist Development Tax revenues collected for arts. This additional funding will support the Blockbuster & Special Events fund and grant programs for cultural projects, cultural facilities, and venue rental subsidy.
