PROJECT: Habitat for Humanity Greater Orlando and Osceola County, Inc., Lots located at: 1909 S Westmoreland Drive, Orlando, FL 32805; 830 23rd Street, Orlando, FL 32805; 1006 26th Street, Orlando, FL 32805; and 1408 S Westmoreland Drive, Orlando, FL 32805
PURPOSE: On May 6, 2025, the Board approved a Project Administration Agreement with Habitat for Humanity Greater Orlando and Osceola County, Inc. for the development of affordable housing on County-donated land, including a budget of $30,000 for construction hard/soft costs per unit to be built. Following the transfer of surplus lots on July 22, 2025, the Housing and Community Development Division identified that four of the lots had existing complaints related to rubbish, debris, and overgrowth. This First Amendment modifies the original agreement to allocate an additional $5,000 per lot from the Affordable Housing Trust Fund to support lot restoration activities necessary to prepare the sites for vertical construction.
