PROCUREMENT:
This change order adds funds to support additional plan revisions, signal design, permitting, and survey efforts. Extra efforts are needed for responding to change order items. This change order covers additional services beyond the original scope of the Ficquette Road widening project to account for additional time to complete the project.
This change order is required to support additional plan revisions due to new developments within the project limits, signal design to include the fourth leg of Summerlake Park Boulevard/Ream Road/Ficquette Road intersection, permitting, and additional survey efforts to finalize design. There were several notable changes to existing conditions within the project limits and updated Standards and Specifications which necessitated additional survey work and plans updates that were not captured in the original scope of services. These changes include:
* Parcels with revised or new driveways,
* Parcels where anticipated construction easements needed to be removed,
* Construction of the fire station (design was done based on plans, but required survey to verify construction),
* Construction of new subdivision road (design also done based on plans, but required survey to verify construction)...
