The Clerk of the Board is responsible for keeping accurate minutes and maintaining Board records for each Board of County Commissioner (BCC) and Value Adjustment Board (VAB) meeting. In addition, every 4 years, the Clerk of the Board office provides staff support to the Charter Review Commission (CRC) appointed by the BCC. PURPOSE: The Board suspended the Minority/Women Business Enterprise Ordinance due to Federal Executive Order 14173 that prohibited Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) programs on July 1, 2025. The Board adopted the Small Business Enterprise (SBE) Ordinance on July 15, 2025. The Ordinance did not contain parameters regarding qualification as a SBE to allow time to gather input from the community regarding said parameters. This resolution adopts the Small Business Enterprise Program Policies and Procedures Manual establishing the rules, regulations, and procedures necessary to implement the SBE Program.
